Filtering is needed to protect out students from harmful sites.  But, how much and what to filter is left to the disrict to decide.  How do we determine what to block?  How do we teach students how to respond to inappropriate content?  Unmasking the Digital Truth is a collaborative wiki that hopes to understand why some leaders are overblocking web 2.0 sites in schools and libraries.  The hopes are that we obtain a resonable alternative to suport student and teacher access to these 21st century tools.
